Privacy Policy

What we keep when you send us a job, why we keep it, and how to have it removed.

This policy covers PS Machining Pty Ltd (ABN 51 643 047 287), trading as Port Stephens Machining, at 1/12 George Road, Salamander Bay NSW 2317. Updated 13 October 2026.

What we collect

We only hold what you give us when you ring, text or email about a job:

  • your name, phone number, email address and business name
  • delivery and billing details
  • drawings, CAD files, photos and descriptions of the part

We use these to quote, make and deliver your job, invoice it, and contact you about it. They are kept in our email, our job system and our accounting software.

Your drawings and designs

Your drawings and designs stay yours. We don’t publish them, and we don’t show your parts or name your business in our marketing without asking first.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent your details to anyone. If another business handles part of your job, such as a freight carrier or a finishing process, we only pass on what they need to do that part.

This website

This site has no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. If you click to email or ring us, that goes through your own email or phone. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

Our Facebook page

We publish posts to our own Facebook page using an automated tool connected to Facebook. The tool only posts our own content. It doesn’t sign anyone else in, and it doesn’t collect or store information about people who view, like or comment on the page. Facebook’s own privacy policy covers what Facebook does.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email [email protected] or call 0478 790 631. Tell us what you want to see, fix or remove, and we’ll reply within 30 days. We keep invoices and other tax records for as long as the law requires.

Data deletion requests

To have your information deleted, including anything connected with our Facebook page or app, email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my data”. We’ll confirm by email when it’s done.

Complaints

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first and we’ll fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
